Video Drive Study: Tar Heel

Most of us rarely have the opportunity to compare and contrast the throwing styles of top pros, especially all at the same time, on the same hole. Here's your chance.

disc golf photo: UNC hole 13

Below you can download video clips shot at the Tar Heel Tournament at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on April 14th 2002. Each player is driving on hole 13, which is just over 400 feet. The basket is across a valley at an elevation lower than the tee pad.

Study each player's style, and compare it to your own. What do you notice? For example, you can see from the preview photos below that each player keeps his left arm to his side during release. Do you?

The MOV files average about 1.2 Mb each, the MPG files average 325 Kb each.
