disc golf photo: Barry Schultz It's Tuesday, and we've been back in the studio since late Sunday night after a seven hour drive from Kentucky. John Sink, Leo Borowski and I all got a good night's rest last night, and at the moment we're in slowdown mode as we wait for the editing station's computer drive array to defrag so we can load it back up with fresh digital images.

The Bowling Green Open was a great event, and we got to see some old friends who we hadn't run into yet during production, including David Greenwell and Rick & Sylvia Voakes. The forecast had called for thunderstorms all weekend, but we saw nary a drop which was plenty fine with everyone. A good hard rain during a tournament will make for great television, but as the crew, well… we'd prefer to put that off a while longer. There are enough challenges at the moment, thank you very much.

The early responses received from our stations have been great. They're pumped up in Oregon, and one disc golf photo: John Sink of the executives at WJYS in Chicago has already asked us where he can find a course. We haven't talked with Empire Sports in Buffalo yet, but we've been too busy for a lot of things.

The debut of the show in Bowling Green was less then optimal however. We brought along DVD copies of the first two shows, and rented a television from the host hotel so we could show them in the indoor courtyard on Saturday night. Our mistake was failing to test the TV out before show time, and we ended up with a blown-out picture that was barely decipherable and unchangeable. On top of that, the sound was drowned out by the large nearby waterfall.

C'est la vie.

A lot of people who can't get the show yet are asking how they can get tapes. All of our shows will be available to purchase from this site very soon, and perhaps as early as this week. We'll see how fast the final edit of the Bowling Green Open show comes together first…
