Meet The 2001-2002 Winnicrew
Now in their fourth year on tour,
Todd Branch and Al Schack proved back in 1999 that it is possible to make a
living -- not to mention have a lot of fun -- as a touring professional
disc golfer.
With Al in his own Winnie these days,
Todd Branch has some fresh blood to travel with. Dave Feldberg joined up full time in 2000,
and young Mr. Avery Jenkins climbed aboard last year.
Todd logs on whenever he finds a disc golfer willing to surrender
a phone jack. "I'll just be a minute," he says. "Need to send an email. Of course
it's a local call." He sends dispatches every week or so, which are usually up on the Web
within hours. You're invited to follow along from city to city, course to course, as
the adventure unfolds.
